What's with Google UK?

I've got a couple of sites that are high positions 15 and 2 in Google
USA and in Google UK they simply aren't there any more. What gives?

You miss my point. Why should they be high in USA but nowhere in UK?
What kind of sense does that make? Formerly they were high in both.

You miss my point. Why should they be high in USA but nowhere in UK?
What kind of sense does that make? Formerly they were high in both.

Are they dot coms? or dot co.uks? are you searching on UK pages only
or directly from google.co.uk?

Maybe Google thinks they are less relevant to the UK, or has improved the
ranking of sites that offer UK-specific information, knocking them out of
the top spots?

No way to tell without examples.
