Somehow, the text I placed in my META Description isn't being indexed
by Google (but Yahoo picks it up just fine).
I tested this using both site:masterpiececommercial.com and
info:masterpiececommercial.com and the first bit of text Google is
using is all the way down in my <h1> section.
Even the ALT text I have for the image at the top of the page is being
disregarded! So I'm wondering if I screwed something up in the <head
section? |
1. google tries to match the search results with the search term - I doubt
you have your URL in the meta desc or in ALT text.
2. Don't sweat about webmaster searches - try searches that potential
customers will use and see you get on with them. It's those that matter. Why
would a customer search for your URL?

First things first - but not necessarily in that order.
