Google has _never_ shared a full listing of one's backlinks. Only a
partial "random sampling".

Try Yahoo for checking of backlinks.

"link:www.glogowskajurek.republika.pl" or I still have to wait for some
link-update in Google? (The site is already some months in Dmoz... - Google
doesn't show even this link.)
If you look for phrase "www.glogowskajurek.republika.pl" you will find much
more results that are real links.

And it will also show some pages that mention your URL but do not
share it as a link [yes, some folks mention URLs but not as links but
for folks to cut and paste] ... or obfiscuate[sp?] the link [using
JavaScript or some means of sharing it] in hopes of duping the
googlebot and Google into not sharing any of their PR with that linked
site.
