Look at the SAME verse from the Vulgate, which is the most
meticulous and authoritative translation of the scriptures:

Meaning, euthanize rabidly inhuman animals with Jesus' blessing.
"Inhuman" because they don't love God so they don't love their
law-abiding brothers and sisters as they love themselves. And
they therefore disobey the Ten Commandments which are founded
upon the golden rule (i.e., the Rock of Ages). They are enemies
of Jesus Christ, thus we are commanded by God to KILL them dead.
