I have certain reasons to suspect that, other things being equal, google prefers webpages that display adsense ads. Has anyone else observed this? |

Has anyone else observed this? I don't know about the preferred bit, but I think I noticed that a new page with ads from AdSense gets indexed way quicker that one without. There might be a good reason for that: Google has to know what is in the page to be able to serve context relevant ads. Since it has to know already for the AdSense program, why not use the information it thus gathers for the SE index also? |

Hi Barbara, If there are 2 similar pages (I mean they are 100% the same) one with the adsense adverts and one without adsense adverts then the one with the adsense adverts is better than the other. Why? Because it has more keywords in links on it due to the adsense adverts. I consider it as something trivial - you can easily beat a page with adsense adverts by proper SEO. |
