Thanks for the tip, Andrew. I guess, I should have read the agreement more
attentively ;-).
BTW, it is rather disturbing to see how secretive Google is about AdSense.
This program is the only business venue I know of that gets away with saying
"we'll pay you, but we won't tell how much and based on what". The reality
is: there are several unknown variables, so even if they would have told you
"we pay 10%", there is no reasonable way to know how much their advertisers
are paying for the clicks because you don't know what exact words or phrases
the ads was shown for. And, I guess, the only reason not to tell you how
much they pay (except for being able to easily increase their profits
towards the end of the year or a quarter) is not to let you devise how much
the advertisers pay so you don't have a competitive edge if you are an
advertiser yourself. But then, again,there is still not enough information
to reliably calculate the cost of the ads, so only profit cooking remains
the reason :-(
