Anyhow..... the problem? I can't find it on any major search engine ie ,google, yahoo, msn etc.The only person to find it is ask jeeves. great i guess at least it exists. I have meta tags i assume are correct but havent got a clue.I have manually uploaded the site to about 20 or so search engines and also paid money to a search engine company to upload it to 800,000+ engines. But it still can't be found. Verry Frustrated Louise Hi Louise, Automatic search engine submissions are a waste of money. First of all, many of the top search engines now require you to enter a value that appears in a graphic image when posting a URL. Automatic submission services cannot get past that because the software can't see the graphic and learn the proper password to enter. Secondly, there are only about 10 search engines worth posting to. The rest of them out there are FFA (Free For All) search engines that are basically email address harvesters. FFA site building software is free to download all over the Internet. They will keep your link on file for a very, very short time, but your email address will be sold to spammers. That 800,000+ search engine posting is not going to get you traffic, but it will guarantee that you'll never again have a day without lots of email. Like many others, you're getting caight up in the "Top 30" frenzy. Hundreds of thousands of competing Web sites and only 30 slots worth anything. It's almost like winning a lottery. Wouldn't it be nice if you could utilize the high traffic someone else has on their Web site?
