(appropriately modified)

Although that's a start, there are millions of rubbish sites, and you are
restricted to a certain number of search terms. It would be nice to have a
block list, rather like some people build up large killfiles. If it ran
client-side then the SE wouldn't take a huge performance hit whilst processing
the request.

I don't go for the idea of flagging up certain domains as spam if a lot of
people block them. For example, a lot of people might want to block sites
selling alcohol or offering gambling, but it doesn't follow that these sites
are spamming the serps.
