That's actually a useful tool. You mentioned it before, but I didn't both-
er to register with the site. I wonder if it's of any use for many arbi-
trary results pages. I guess it's mainly of interest to commercial sites
whose scope is narrower and visitor-to-profit ratio is quite high.

Was that mentioned in the fine prints when you purchased a licence? If
not, perhaps you can get a refund, arguing that it must be stated to the
prospective customer. Many businesses make money out of ambiguities.

Yep occasionally though I tend to not worry about specific SERPs, so
only track SERPs for one site of mine. I'm more concerned with
targeted traffic and money, recently lost about 10,000 visitors a day
over all sites and it hit revenue, have recovered around 5,000
visitors and earnings over all is almost normal (one source is up
considerably). The traffic I lost didn't make much money, (poetry
related, lots of it but doesn't convert well).

I have an annual subscription to Wordtracker and I think it's great,
OK it's US biased, but there isn't that much difference really. And
more importantly is there a better alternative?

It would be associated with one's own IP address, so there is a certain risk
of Google banishment, I suspect. I still use the scripts on occasions, but
the daily cron job is disabled. It makes me paranoid.

That's because they use the Google API, which is out of sync now and then
with the other datacenters.

But it should be in sync with at least ONE, shouldn't it?
And I can't find any dc showing same results
