Those who have experience in this field, can you give any thoughts on a
ranking booster program such as www.rankingboosterpro.com?

Thanks

1.) Check your log program to see if you have any hits at all from
Alexa...any meaningful traffic.

2.) Don't waste your time or money. Do good solid SEO, follow this NG and a
few of the better forums and you will get good traffic in short order (A few
months)

Jimworld at http://www.jimworld.com/forums/
and Webmaster World at http://www.webmasterworld.com/home.htm are pretty
good.

This newsgroup is the best of the bunch (IMHO), but the others are listed

So few people have the Alexa toolbar that the statistics are unreliable if
you are well below the top web sites. I can sometimes get my web site into
the top 100,000 just by having a busy day working on it. I sometimes wonder
if I am one of only two or three people a day who accesses my web site and
who has an Alexa toolbar active since my web site goes right down in the
traffic ranking when I am on holiday!! A team effort could easily give an
artifically high ranging.

Best regards, Eric.
