Quick work by the Googlebots ..

I put up a new page and read it for the first time at 14:14:09 this
afternoon. The Googlebot came at 14:15:50

I put up another new page and read it for the first time at 19:08:47 this
evening. The Googlebot came at 19:10:01

Average delay 1m 27.5 seconds. Wow, that is fast and it included them
reading the robots.txt first, each time. Well done the Googlebots at
64.68.86.38 and 64.68.86.149

I think I have bad news for you.

It is my understanding that 64.68.86.38 and 64.68.86.149 are not
"Googlebot/2.1", they are "Mediapartners-Google/2.1"

What that means is that these are hits from the AdSense bot, and the
AdSense bot will not get you into the Google index.

Check your web server log files to be certain.

I published a new site yesterday afternoon - this morning it's in the google
index. I was quite impressed !
