Question regarding internal links

When checking backlinks in Google I often notice that some of the
backlinks actually is from ones own page. For instance checking
www.studiebyenesbjerg.dk the only result that appears is
www.studiebyenesbjerg.dk?sitemap. Other sites have lots and lots of
inbound links from their own site, for instance www.dgh.dk.

My question is, does it help my rank to link to my own page
www.studiebyenesbjerg.dk multiple places on my own site?

i always make sure the home button goes to the full domain and uses a
keyword

Your observation is 100% correct. Now the good news - yes it does help
- as long as you place just ONE link to your own site from each one of
your web pages. Never over do it - you might be penalized.
