Default Question about SEO and picture voting sites. - 12-10-2004 , 12:31 PM

Hello All,
I am a novice. But the question CMS like php-nuke got me thinking, so I
thought I would ask a question myself.
I am about to launch a picture voting site. (It's pron, midget amputee
with a hair lip, a small niche I know... but then again I am making that
up.)
It is actually a car picture voting site.
I had not thought about doing alot of on page optimization. But can
something like that even be done on on dynamic sites like a picture
voting site? I had really jsut thought I would get most traffic through
links and forum posts.
Any other thoughts on this type of site.

Thanks,

Read up on "google bomb" or "google bombing" this will show you that you
need little or no on-page optimisation in order to rank, assuming you can
get enough links.

Indeed to add weight to what I'm saying searching google for "click here"
reveals:

http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...8&q=click+here

First result: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

You don't find the word "click" or "here" on that page at all but it ranks
number 1 for the term. Put simply because thousands of sites have linked to
the adobe reader with the anchor text "click here".

HTH
