Default Possible to determine "real" PR? - 12-09-2004 , 02:55 AM

Hi,

I often read that the PR value displayed in the Google Toolbar does not reflect
the "real" PR of a page, because the PR displayed to the public is not up to
date. Am I correct?

Therefore, I wonder if it is possible to get an indication of the current,
"real" PR of a page, by how often Google spider it?

For instance, I have a website where the main page has a PR2 according to the
Toolbar. The "main subpages" are PR1. However, the main page is crawled every
24hrs, the "Google cache" in the SERP is also updated every day for the main
page. The "main subpages" are updated in the cache once or twice a month.

Is it possible that the "real" PR of my main page is more than 2, since Google
updates it every day? Or is this common for a PR2 page? Should I expect a higher
Toolbar PR the next time Google updates it?
