Default pls check syntax for link tag - 01-26-2006 , 01:02 AM

I am having difficulty regaining good SERPs and I wonder if someone could
check my html example to ensure that the link text syntax is correct as far
as Google is concerned.
I have included some adjoining html just in case this could be 'diluting'
the key words.
Thx,

You might want to check it with the validator. Also, why don't you do the
highlighting entirely in CSS?

I have checked it with a validator but I don't think that is the same thing
as checking it for Google in terms of SEO

validator checks syntax, so your subject was eh, wrong.

SEO wise, you might make the anchor text a bit longer. But adding HTML
elements doesn't "dilute" the keywords IMO.
