Please Help: Website Search returns empty

HI,

i am using indexing services on w2000 (iis 6.0).
I have created a catalog and it is referencing the website for which I
want my search.
(I think I have done everything accordingly based on MS documentation
and other tips from the INternet)..However, when I initiate a search I
get no matching results (Which shouldn't be the case).

Does anyone know this problem??

Are you sure the first pass indexing run is complete?

Hi William,

THe indexing run is indeed complete. However, when I click on the
indexing service icon, the details pane displays my catalog and some
other attributes:

The "total docs" displays 29 (which is about right) but the "Docs to
Index" is 0..so is the "word list"(0) and "Deffered for Indexing"(0)..
"Status" says started...

What could be the next step?
