Default Please help!Title Changed - Meta-names added - 12-13-2005 , 11:16 AM

I added my URL webpage (http://www.dirkproductions.com) a month ago. By
then, i did not have any meta-names or titles added to it. It is only
displayed in google when searching for dirkproductions. I changed the
title and added meta-names to the website also. The problem it is that
google did not update it yet. What can i do to notify google that my
webpage has changed?

Note that most meta thingies don't do a thing with Google (like meta
keywords, meta description).

Get more links to it.

As for your title: are you branding dirk productions? If not, remove it
from the title, or put it to the very end. Also, don't use the same
title on each and every page.

<A HREF=servicios.html></A> is not smart (nor is the title Servicios).

A flash movie as a menu... why on earth, since you're not doing anything
fancy with it, you could have the same effect with HTML + CSS

(oh, and the wave effect, your visitors get seasick before they have
finised reading 3 sentences).

<http://www.dirkproductions.com/servicios2.html>

4 lines of content, a scrollbar to the left (that does nothing).

Even if your site appears in google, it probably will end up very low.

My advice: take a piece of paper, and start to brainstorm.

What is your site about?
What do you want to tell your visitors?
What can you show your visitors?
etc.

try to think about your site: what do you want to do with it.

Then write for each question keywords that answer it.

Then group related keywords, start to think about sentences.

Then start to write content, the more the better, but don't make it
artificial.

http://www.dirkproductions.com/servicios7.html is a good start.

servicios7. I mean, I don't know what service number 7 is. How about:

http://www.dirkproductions.com/servi...ginas-web.html

Is the content in a flash movie? AFAIK, Google doesn't extract content
from a flash movie (yet). So worse case: it sees very little on that
page. Probably only: <A HREF=servicios.html></A> <A
HREF=contactar.html></A> etc. etc. which is hardly content, if at all.

Thanks John for your help. I already thought keywords about my website,
but I have a question. Since most meta thingies don't do a thing with
Google, where do I suppose to put the keywords.
I do not really know how to use HTML + CSS, that´s why I have a flash
movie as a menu.
What about the main page? Is it going to be updated?
Thanks again John!

I think you should google for optomising flash pages... im sure there
are loads of resources.. mata tags are ancient news. You need to work on
the way things are done these days.

Google only re spiders your web site every so often, more so when you
keep changing the content and have good back links.

In other words, write a block of text -- like an advertisement or an
essay or an article -- in which your keywords appear. Google can only
read (and index) text.

And what follows is NOT what i mean by text:

You really don't give google anything to feed on with technical
telegraphic talk like that. The help you need is not how to get
technical -- you've got javascrit and little tricks coming out the
wazoo -- but would it be completely beyond you to write in normal
English, using keywords? How about:

yeah, most of that can stay but remember it has to be spread across
every page that has an example of that kid of guitar on, so it'll need
fattening quite a bit.

Im going to stay in and write different stuff for each guitar page...And
report back

I am a bit nervy about leaving out the specifications list as other
sites generally have them in.....Including the high up sites

I can have a link to the manufacturers specs page...Hmm thinking
