Just hope the host has everything backed up OK, I don't
fancy having to reload everything from my end.
Like you say, it is bloody frustrating though, I was hoping
to get a load of new pages picked up as quick as possible.

1: Other sites may decide to check backlinks, see the site is no
longer and pull them.
2: Repeat or new customers arrive and see the site down and think we
no longer exist and go elsewhere never to return again.

They recently were taken over by some 2 bit company. If I move hosts I will also have to rewrite the site. With over 1000 pages to do by hand, I don't really want to at this present moment in time. plh Paul |
Why would you have to rewrite your site? Just copy the files and upload them
to another server. A pain in the ass, I know I just did it with almost all
my sites. But I am saving money and I have more, plus that makes me happier.
