Stop words are words like "the", "and", "or", "these", and any other
often-used words that wouldnt be considered a keyword or part of a keyword
phrase.
AFAIK about the google algo, i would imagine that the keyword density does
not include data in 'alt' or 'meta' tags as google tends to ignore those.
If I am wrong about this someone please correct me.

New at this and would like to optimize my site correctly.
Have a few terminology questions.
1 -What is a stop word and how does it effect the word count or the site
being spider?
2 - When a search engine spiders the site would the word density be
considered including all the keywords in the site including alt tags
comments and meta tags or just the text?
Thanks in advance I'm sure I'll have more questions in the future.
