Type your url address into google and take a look...

I sure hope this is a fluke and not really happening.

I'm probably missing something - what should I be seeing?

AFAIK google used to open the url you typed. Now it treats url as
regular text and shows SERP.
Google used to show the info:http://example.com page. Now it either shows
just the snippet for the single URL, or a partial list of pages on the
site(?). But when you click on "repeat the search with the omitted results
included" it takes you directly to the site and doesn't repeat the search.
Looks like a bug in the SERPs page.

TK

That happens when the site you are searching for is no longer indexed
(banned from Google for example).
OK, something might have changed (didn't look before posting).

A search for http://www.domain.com would go direct** to
http://www.domain.com, now it doesn't!

**That is unless the site wasn't indexed then it would do a search,
now it does a search for sites indexed.

Do you think Google is looking to grab some revenue from that type of
search? If Google goes straight to the site it can't make any money
from the search, going to a search results instead a searcher might
click on an Adwords ad.

Here is an example

http://www.megaupload.com/?p=OQQ6OFFC

Before it used to--

1. (Make a URL link)Ask you if that was the correct address. If so click to
go to that link

2. Pages that link to it

3. sites that have that link in it

now i get

Your search - http://www.megaupload.com/?p=OQQ6OFFC - did not match any
documents.

Suggestions:
Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
Try different keywords.
Try more general keywords.
Try fewer keywords

It seems that it will only return results from the main Domain names
