Hi Everyone, I just did a few pages of technical books at http://www.usernomics.com/human-fact...ce-design.html . I want to change the URL to something simpler like _______books-human-factors.html . The page is new and Google has it at PR=0 but it is indexed (actually #1 for human factors books). Can I just change it or do I have to do a redirect of some sort? I never did that before so if I need it can you point me to one? |

You need a redirect in your .htaccess file - if that sounds horrendously technical it is actually really simple and you'll get guidance here if you need it. Sorry if I've just insulted your technical expertise ![]() It's just a line like: redirect 301 old.html http://www.example.com/new.html |
