Why do you ask for 5 email addresses?
I don't want to give my friends email addresses to some stranger.
So I can't sign up- right?

I tried the form and I couldn't get past the first step. It keeps
redirecting me to step 1 even though everything was completed correctly.

Sorry... I should have said... you don't need to complete that bit.
If you have completed the first bit, you should find everything has
gone through. Did you get an acceptance email OK?

I can't understand that, Dominic... we got over 300 submissions
yesterday and not one report of problems (apart from this one). 220 of
those submissions were processed and the backlog is being worked
through today.

Ok, I tried it and came up with this:
http://www.aardvarkbusiness.net/biz/...d-failed.shtml

"Click here for banner advertising information

An error has occured

This error usually occurs when you haven't filled in either your name,
your e-mail address or at least one friends e-mail address. Please click
here to return to the form to check that
these fields are completed, then submit again.

I have filled in my name and email but NOT my friends email addresses.

hi,

I added one of our sites a couple of hours ago and only entered our
email address and name so no friends emails, have no friends :-(( and
didn't get an error.

I agree that part of the system is misleading though and suggests you
have to enter email addresses to continue. Had I not read this thread
first I'd of add fictitious email addresses as I never enter other
email addresses.

that's because as user-testing shows most users DO NOT REPORT PROBLEMS.
perhaps you would have had 30,000 instead of 300 if others could have used
it better.

I doubt it, given that the domain didn't get anything like that number
of visitors. I assure you, the form works fine.
