Over the last 6 months, I have encountered many, many unusual results in Google. I certainly don't see Google as the champion of relevant searches. Just one example - I have a site that was 43 in a Google serp that is not all that competitive. It recently moved to 82. To give you an idea about how competitive that serp is, #6 is a page about a particular type of insect - completely unrelated to the search. |

It wasn't long ago I ahd this cat by the tail but now I see where I ranked in google in my logs, click on the link to pull the google results up, and am no where to be found on the page. Even though I ranked hours earlier. I rank, then I don't. This happens over and over. Could Google be doing some sort of randomizing? Tim |
