Default Mirrored Sites - Need Advice - 11-23-2005 , 09:58 AM

Hi,

I am going to redesign a website. The owner of the site registered 2
domain names: 4-blahblah.com and four-blahblah.com. Right now, both
sites have identical contents. When I looked up their business name, the
4-blahblah.com site came up, but not the other one. Google has indexed
most pages for the 4-blahblah.com, but only 5 pages from the other
domain.

I know having mirrored sites is a No-No for search engine ranking. I'd
like to get your opinions on the best way to avoid further damage. I was
thinking of re-building the site and have it on the 4-blahblah.com. Not
sure what to do with the four-blahblah.com domain.

Thanks!

Terry

Do a 301 redirect to the other site with it. The engines should be ok
with that.
