Default Metas and content - plurals and word derivatives with regards to SEO - 07-11-2004 , 02:31 AM

Hello
I'm after knowing it the Search Engine Spiders know about plurals and other
derivatives of words or if you have to spell them out in keyword metas /
text of your webpage.

I would like all forms of (for example) the word supplemment to be keywords
for my site

For example... Supplement and Supplements
Do Google (or others) have indexes of Plurals and other derivatives of the
same word (like Supplementation) in an index somewhere?

ie. Do I need to include in the text of my webpage (and maybe in the
Keyword Metas of my pages)
"Supplement,Supplements,Supplementation,Supplement ing" etc or will the root
word "Supplement" do if I want all forms of of the word to be a keyword for
my site?

Thanks... Philip.

A form of this is called stemming. Google was applying that for a few
months. But, I have noticed some slacking on it.

Yes, include them into your body text of your web page, your links, title,
description and file names.
