Default Setting up a shared FTP folder? - 01-20-2006 , 11:47 AM

Hello Everyone,

I have several images to load on my FTP site each month as part of a blog.
The images only stay up for one month and are then automatically removed.

Now I have a person who will be helping me post articles to the blog and he
needs access to an image directory. I want to give him access to the image
directory but not to the rest of the FTP site.

A guy at my ISP can write some scripts to make that image directory
accessible with a password but he will not be back to do this for two weeks.
It is a bit involved and I don't have the skill to do it. Another option I
thought about was getting a free upload site like Flickr, give us both
access to that account, and change the image paths in the blog to that new
FTP site.

What do you think of this idea vs. waiting to have my regular directory
setup in a couple of weeks? And is Flickr the best place to do something
like this?

Thanks,

Bob

Flicker is a great place for it. A lot of bloggers do that.
