Default Little experiment - 07-04-2005 , 08:22 PM

Anyone interested in a little experiment?
If anyone has a PR5 or 6 homepage that is re-cached
every day try this,
Add a link from the page to a brand new page, the next day
add a link from that page to another brand new page, the following
day add a link from that page to another brand new page. etc. etc.
I would be interested to here how deep you can go and get the page
indexed within 48 hrs.

See http://johnbokma.com/ I do something that sounds a bit like your
experiment :-). PR7 page. The index.html is fetched twice a day afaik. And
I am normally able to get a page in google in max 24 hrs.

haha, this would've applied to me in pre Bourban Days when I thought I had
the Midas touch for years. Now I'm so put off that I may very well start
putting up bullsh*t sites as a method of spite. Just as so many others have
done. Something which has gone very much against my beliefs.

Regardless, sounds like a good experiment nonetheless. Wish you luck with
your findings.

Thanks for the reply John,
I should think most PR 5, 6 and 7 pages can get a new page in
Google within 24hrs, but how deep can you go?
Create the new page with no links on it, once it is picked up
add a link on the page to another new page with no links on it,
then do the same again, and again

Also alongside this experiment run another one like this,
Create 6 or 7 new pages all at the same time
Add a link from your home page to page 1, then from page 1
link to page 2, from page 2 to 3, 3 to 4 etc.
Only ever have 2 links on every new page,
one to the next page and one back to the homepage.
