Question: do linkbacks from low-traffic sites boost rankings? The Google link: tool only shows sites with a PR of over 4. You'll notice that generally the tool shows 30 of 50 sites or something similar. Those remaining 20 are probably < 4 but they still count, just to a lesser extent to higher pr sites. As Gateway says you should really look for links that will increase your traffic and if you do link exchanges will benefit your visitors. Doing link exchanges purely for page rank is not a good long term strategy in my opinion. Adi |
