Default link invasion - 12-06-2004 , 11:09 PM

Usually, it's good to have some backlinks. One site that I know of recently acquired almost 1200 backlinks (according to Google).

What's unusual is that no one knew about them. Its not a link exchange or link purchase - they just appeared. The backlinks are all .co.kr and are all redirected to

http://www.airlinesticket.net/index.asp

Here is just one example out of what appears to be about a dozen different domain names:

http://www.airlinetickets.co.kr/disc..._discount.html

The whois shows nothing but some characters that tell me nothing. Has anyone ever had something like this happen before?
