Keyword spamming and NO CONTENT

Hi ppl

I cant understand how this site has got onto the google index. I was ego
searching and found that the site above me www
ultimate-choice-bathrooms.co.uk (dot missing) is beating me and yet there is
no content, the discription is dire the keywords the same and its all
images, well take a look for yourself see what you all think, I would be
VERY interested to see what the experts think

If you do a Google search for "SUPPLIERS AND INSTALLERS OF ALL MAJOR BRANDS
OF BATHROOM" then they are going to outrank you.

Yes I am in the proccess of re-building my entire site using CSS and much
more targeted keywords etc, should be a beast this time :P

It is an older domain name (2001). It looks like it has a fair number of
long-term inbound links.

You have to balance what the visitors see with optimization. If they see
nothing but "Bathroom Essex" in the SERPs they might not be as inclined to
click on it as a descriptive title written out for humans.

I would do something more like:
<title>Royce Bathrooms Essex | Bathroom Showroom and Installation</title>

That puts "Essex" near "Bathrooms" and "Bathroom Showcase" while still
leaving word combinations like "Essex Bathroom Installation" in the title.

....but I don't think his title is why he is lagging behind the other web
site.

How do i go about finding out a domain name age?
And yes it does have a few links inbound, I had another site a long while
back which had a link farm and when i killed that site i just sent the old
domain to this one and the PR went from 3 to 4 as the old one was PR4, so i
was well happy :P
