Default Invisible - 05-05-2006 , 01:58 PM

We created a new site, www.findctas.com and submitted it to Google. It
never appeared on Google. We then created an identicle site with a
different url, www.findacta.com and submitted this to Google. Nothing.
What do we need to do to have this not be invisible?

Thanks,

Scot

If you had read a few postings in this group, you would have come up
with the idea that links aren't bad.

submitting was something that worked in the 90's. Nowadays, try to get a
few good (PR4 or more) links to your site. Preferable related links.

Someone in this groups once said that purely-irrelevant links (e.g. cars and
medicine) will not be count altogether. This sounds harsh, but it /may/ be
true. Depends on the search engine...

Best wishes,

Roy

When did you created/submitted the site?

you have to create unique title tags for each page.
you have to get 1 site down(or at least remove it from Google's index)
because now you have duplicate content.
you have to create a sitemap
relevant links(R-E-L-E-V-A-N-T, PR-tool is not trustable and gives
wrong impression of real PR)
submit a press article
....

Hello,

We created the site about three months ago. We did submit a press
release.

It is not that our site is poorly ranked, it is completely invisible.

I will inquire with our web designer about the title tags.

thanks,

Scot

Also the idea of using 2 url might have triggered Google duplicate content
filter

You don't have to, all pages have the same title. Instead of asking, fire
him.
