Hello, I started an eCommerce website selling telephone headsets. What other form of Internet Marketing should I be considering other than SEO? I already hired someone to help me with SEO of my website. while I am waiting... What else can I do? Waiting for the SE's to optimize is very painful... with all the inventory I have on hand and making no money... Should I hired an "Internet Marketing consultant" for other forms of Internet marketing for my website? or is that a waste of money? Any advice would be appreciated? - Jeannie |

That can provide you with a good "quickstart". https://adwords.google.com/select/ Asolid Internet Marketing Campaign takes time...just ask Amazone.com how long it took B4 they became profitable :-) Another great source of reliable, tested information (and plenty of free tips ) is Dr. E-biz. This guy is reputable and sharp...has been for years. http://www.wilsonweb.com/wmt/ |

I'm only getting a few sales per week, obviously I need more... to survive. Speaking of Google Adwords, I still don't quit understand how Adwords work exactly and how much I should set as maximum CPC in Adwords? I seem to be getting the same number of clicks if set it for 0.22 or 0.36. So obviously I set it at 0.22 now. Overture is much easier to understand, it tells me exactly where I will be, but much more expensive ($1-$3) if I want to be on the first page. Is there a trick to setting the Max CPC in Adwords? A solid Internet Marketing Campaign takes time This is my problem... I don't have a "Marketing Campaign". I think I need one, other than trying to be in the top 10 position of the Search Engines. What if I don't get in the top 10 (not everybody does right)? then my business is in serious trouble?! - Jeannie |

I do know there is a book out on how to get the best out of Googles ADWords and it is around $40 or so. Being at the top of the Search Engines should be one part of your strategy. For additional traffic, you might try some or all of the following; 1.) Directories that deal with what you are selling...this can be a great source of traffic. Sometimes you will have to pay a little $$ for a link though. Bussiness.com can draw some traffic for certain types of businesses. 2.) Check out sites that are complementary and exchange links with them. for instance, if you are a local realtor, you might want to work with local moving companies, mortgage lenders, banks, community development agencies, schools (including colleges) daycare providers, local eateries, etc. 3.) Check out the link I gave you to Dr. e-biz. There are plenty of free resources on that site to get you up and running building your own Internet Markeint Campaign...and you won't even need a consulant. |

Consider researching the subject of marketing and sales copy or if you have the budget get professional copywriter in. Alan |
