Inktomi search engine

Hi All
Do know what the criteria is for Inktomi to get a decent listing, some say
Inktomi is is full of spammed pages, however this cannot be true all the
time, are allowed a certain number of words in the title do they read alt
text ect.
Any help much appreciated.
