I had posted this question in the general section, (big mistake) and received no answers. I also e-mailed Google and received the standard cut and paste reply which said nothing. On with the question. Google is now showing 10,800 of my pages in their cache. This sounds good right? The problem is, I only have about 3500 pages. Is there any way to really see the Google cache for my site? Here is some background that led up to this. About three months ago I had to change my company name and domain name. I had my host set up a IIS permenent redirect and moved the pages into the new domain. Of course the PR5 that I enjoyed for years was lost and the new domain seems to be starting from scratch. (crap!!) I am concerned that Google may be cacheing pages multiple times resulting in a duplicate page penalty. My old domain was www.riksmusic.com and the new domain is www.rmcaudio.com. I own the site but am certainly no web guru so any insight in to this cache thing would be great. Thanks, Rik |
