Default Something wrong with my undestanding of SEO - 09-16-2005 , 06:02 AM

I have read many articles/forums about SEO. I started my site.I have
fixed all html errors and warning, so that my site now clear. I
optimized products pages for selected keywords.... But I still have too
low uniq visitors, and no one by selected keywords. What I'm doing
wrong?

The main pages (with selected keywords) is:

http://www.sencesa.com/Hypnogenic-Rain-Screensaver.htm 'nature
screen saver'

http://www.sencesa.com/Sencesa-Flash-Player.htm 'flash
player'

http://www.sencesa.com/Sencesa-PhotoStory.htm 'digital
photography'

Can anybody comment this situation plz? Thanks

Without looking at your site - why does the url states something
else than keywords?

http://www.sencesa. com/nature-screen-saver.htm

is a way to go in the first case and so on.

Hey there ~

Are there links pointing to your site / those pages with your keywords in
the link text? If not, get some, that would surely help ~

And don't forget links on your own site as well! Link to your pages using
your keyword phrases.

cheers ~
D.

Do your IBLs contain your keywords ?

No headers ie <h1> <h2> <h3> etc
VERY important to have them .......... and in the correct order.
None of your pages that I checked had headers.

No keywords in <strong> or <b>

Here are two links to help you

Does that really have any effect? The strong I can imagine, the b, not
really (since it's visual mark up).

No idea if it works, but looking from the SE side - most people
doesn't know about the difference between <b> and <strong> tags
and uses them more or less randomly for emphasis (they probably
don't know about <em> at all ). Thus SE should treat them in
simillar manner. You know, it is like with validation - doesn't
matter what is right, SE must be able to deal with everything.

No proof either way with <b> ....... but OTOH it wouldn't hurt.
The OPs main problem atm is no <h*> tags

Which would mean that <font size="6"><strong><em><b>Pr0n</b></em></strong>
</font> would put me on #1 ?

Well, it would hurt my readers (ok, I could remove the visual effect with
CSS :-) )
