Default How to optimize for google? - 12-09-2003 , 09:59 AM

I read some articles on the new google algo, but how are we to optimize our
sites for it? Yesterday on www2 and www3, my site was ranked pretty high
(top of the second page). Now I am ranked on the 4th page. What gives?

I would really like some suggestions on optimization for the new algo.

Thanks

There is no advice at present for how to optimize for new algo. SEO Dave had
some advice but it looks like he has dropped off also...

don't use any aggressive or cheeky seo techniques. name your links, files,
titles so that they accurately and clearly describe your site etc.

and then put yourself about a bit to attract some links and stuff
