Including me - I usually run with scripts disabled. You can make it as big as you like, following hte general rules of keping it narrative - no lists of keywords like a keywords tag. You might think of a high-content anchor tag pointing to text-only page with no other way to get there on the site. Or even break completely into a text-only site for the likes of me. The 10% is interesting - one option that very many web designers have come to ignore is bandwidth - not everyone has a broadband link, and increasing numbers of people use mobile devices. My own site is perfectly usable at 9600 baud. |
