there's really zero point getting 'ranking' when Google does not see your
site as relevant to the searchers' needs.

Whatever you do to optimize your site, building the site comes first.
"Content is King" - short term 'fixes' may work - but can cost much more in
the longer term.

Good idea. I don't put ads up on a site until the site is receiving
some traffic.
