I submitted a site to google 3 days ago and it's still not listed, is that
normal ?

That's normal. There are various tricks often recommended to get a
site listed but the only way that definitely works is to keep updating
your site with new data and changes. A blog can be useful too.

Google to come quicker, get more sites to link to you.

Yes, as Singapore Computer Service says, it's mostly about the links
pointing to your site. I never submit sites anymore, just get one or
two good links pointing to the site and Google will find you fairly
quickly, you'll normally find your site is indexed within a week,
sometimes much faster.

Yes, but others have already said that.

You might find it useful to sign up with google webmaster tools
(http://www.google.com/webmasters/). If there are any problems with your
site then that is the only way that google will tell you. (I'm not
suggesting there are any issues, its just that if there are then google
webmaster tools will let you know.)
