Unfortunately I have a HUGE problem Huge atleast in relation to oursmall family owned garage door service business located at http://www.atbdoor.com I have been working non-stop submitting my website to various search engines online, getting links placed on various sites, and finally lastnight for the first time I visited google.ca and yahoo.com, typed in Toronto Garage Door Services in the search bar, and my site showed up in 1st position on yahoo.com, and 1st position under google's sponsored ad. I was satisfied seeing that my hand submissions were actually working, and this was the first time I had ever noticed my site on the search engine. I then decided to continue advertising my site on various search engines, and for some reason now my site is not showing up at all anymore on those search terms, and my PR is 0/10. I'm wondering if it is possible that I could have removed my link accidentally by submitting to a search engine that I had already been added to? When I do go to google.com or yahoo.com and type in my site domain now, it shows up as the old versions with page titles that are not current, but were updated on google just a few hours before ![]() I also links to my site from webmasters, with their page rankings 4/10, 1/10. Can anyone tell me why this could have happened. Is it highly likely I will not be up there again? I am so depressed you don't understand LOLFinally, about page rankings. Is there anywhere I can get indepth information in regards to page rankings? I'm wondering how rankings affect placement on searches. Also, what helps to boost your searches? By you getting your site's link added somewhere on a page with high PR? If so, how does this help? Are there any sites I shouldn't bother getting my site linked on? Do I have to add a link back to a PR site in order to benefit? Thank you guys! Arjay |
