Default Google goofs! - 10-13-2005 , 08:40 AM

I see from the news, that Google has teamed up with Sun so they can
build better profiles of their users. Google not only wants to know
what their users are interested in, and who they communicate with,
and what they communicate about,
but apparently they also want to have access to their user's data.

Newspapers and publishers achieved power and wealth because people want

to selectively access information anonymously.

The successful information providers of the near future will gather
real time information from grass roots BLOGs, VCRs, Web Cams, email
reports, voice mail reports, etc. and provide consumers
with the means to sort out all this data in a way that is useful to
them.

Data users will want to know the profiles of the data providers, but
will want to remain anonymous.

Google efforts to build profiles of consumers will eventually allow
someone to eclipse them.

The company that will be the information powerhouse of the future will:

1. Gather real time or near real time information from the grass roots.

2. Provide profiles of the information providers.
( To give information users a basis on which to analyse the
information,
and compensate for the provider's political, racial, and religious
biased. )

3. Letting the information consumer remain anonymous.
( Information users don't want information providers spying on them.
They are putting up with it now as there is no real alternate
other than using annonymous services, but as the information field
evolves
readers will seek out services that let them remain annonymous.)

The information future information providers
will deprive the people who use media to manipulate the masses of
their source of power, and will distribute power to the masses.

The provider that replaces Google
will be the one that delivers grass roots information
and allows the information users to remain annonymous.
