Default Google crawl - 03-02-2004 , 03:16 AM

I can see google crawlers coming to my site. crawler8.googlebot,
crawler3, crawler1 etc.. are coming. But it doesn't look like that it
really updates my link pages.

I have updated my home page before 2-3 days and still waiting to get
it refreshed in google's cache. I am adding more content to the site,
in vain. because google doesn't even look at them.

I have interlinking to all the pages in my site. It is already listed
in dmoz.org also.

Also when I check for the keyword of my site, it shows junk sites
with forum postings totally unrelated.

My site is http://www.codersource.net. I have optimized the main page
for "win32 c++" keywords.

Can somebody point out the problems? (of not able get the other pages
searched and cache not getting refreshed in google)

Thanks
Muthu

Your site looks fine. It is a little wordy though. You may want to
develop more of a site map and spread your content out. BTW, you are
listed in Google. Just type in http://www.codersource.net. You site
comes up. Seems like you site is fairly new, it takes some time to
get links and PR. If I was you, I would focus more on making my site
the best it could be customers. In my mind, that is the best way to
get you site to the top.

While your site is in Google, it appears that it is only the result of a
freshbot update, not a crawl. You can see if Google has crawled your site
by typing in "site:www.codersource.net" (omit the quotation marks). That
will show you what Google has spidered and by the look sof it, your site is
unspiderable or brand new to Google.

I agree with Kimberly in that you need to get in bound links...at least 30
in-bound links from pages that have a page rank of 4 or better. You will
see a major difference at that point.

Thanks Kimberly and James! I'll add lot more useful articles and try
to get linking from sites with good PR.

Thanks a lot for your advice.
