Default software question - 04-28-2008 , 08:17 PM

Can anyone tell me, what type of software would you need if you wanted to
,well, basicly scan the internet for names, words or phrases. When a hit is
detected it could gather info on where the word and how it was used on the
net. Im doing some reseach on this topic and I dont know where to begin.
Thanks

I doubt you can find exactly that kind of software. It can be written
though, I would pick Perl. If you want a custom solution, contact me.

Many years ago I used coppernic - http://www.copernic.com/

I don't anymore so don't know how it's changed but it was quite useful
for collecting info off search engines.
