Default Free Monitor for Google - 12-12-2005 , 04:02 AM

Lets see if I understand this:
I use the Free Monitor for Google from www.cleverstat.com and am not
sure if this is good enough. I use the Google authentication key in it.
Mostly I do a search on several keywords and get listed below the
200-st place..... But sometimes ( once a day ) my search-terms reach
the first 5 results! Some 3 months ago I was always listed in the
top-10 results for those searchterms, but I dropped down and don't know
why.
When I check my searchterms in Google I never see my webpages listed,
even not when Free Monitor says I'm listed on number 3, 4, 5 or
whatever.

I read this from John:
Quote:
That's because they use the Google API, which is out of sync now and then
with the other datacenters.
Does this have anything to do with my search in Free monitor?

As you can read, I WAS listed very good. But, for some reason (?) I
dropeed below the 200-st place. Is there something going on in Google I
don't understand?

You quite possibly got caught in the cross-fire in the Jagger update
and your site is now showing signs of recovery.

It isn't stable yet. There's arguably little correlation between the
various datacentres and the various Googles.

Everything's out of sync with everything else. But if you're popping
up even briefly in high positions anywhere I'd be taking this as a
sign that your site is recovering.

I've had to give it a million times lately.
Mostly to myself, admittedly (sigh), but it seems to be working
anyway, my site's slowly rising again in dribs and drabs. Probably no
reason why your shouldn't. You need to keep an eye on not just the big
important phrases you had high rankings for but also the ones that
seemed less significant at the time. If they're moving now, then
they're taking on a greater significance.
