Google changed a lot the filters. At first I was 3# .... and now 24# !?!?!?

Have I to wait, or better to change my styling ?

Thanks

Every search engine has their own rules for ranking, and not all of
them are published.

Search engine spammers want to seize the search engines and lock up as
many top positions as possible with their information.

When a spammer discovers a flaw and a way to beat the search engine,
the search engines simply change their ranking rules. Unfortunately,
the good guys sometimes get creamed right along with the bad guys.

You'll need to do a liitle detecting by looking at the top 5 or so
sites and see if you can figure out what they did to get there.

On the other hand, you can decide not to play, opt out of the "Top 30"
battles and utilize the real power of search engine popularity, using
other people's traffic to get business for you.
A chap could get the idea, given that the question was raised on 12th
August, that you'd been searching through previous posts to find an
opportunity to promote your sales rather than offer genuine advice to the
OP - that would be an unfortunate impression to create so I'm sure that
there must be some other explanation.

PR, anchor text, title, keywords on page in H*, bold, strong tags and
of course standard text.

That's about all you need to know in roughly the right order to do
well in Google. The first three are the most important and alone can
get a very good ranking.
