Index page doesnt rank almost all sub pages do?

Hello all, my sites index page stopped getting ranked about 3 months
ago and I have no idea why? almost all my other pages in my site are
ranked? what is going on here? I find the index page not getting ranked
hasnt been a problem for my keyword possition but I would like to see
my rank again it was a rank 5 and about 2 weeks ago I saw it rank for a
short period of time I find it all a mystery really.
any help idea`s would be much appriciated.

You do have listings for your home page -

Perhaps just not the listings you want. It does look like your home
page is suffering as it doesn't have a PageRank but your deerp pages
do.

In your navigation bar I would change your home link so it points to
http://www.sea-fishing.org/ rather than
http://www.sea-fishing.org/index.html.

I would also use Google's Sitemap XML and give your home page a
priority of 1.0
