No. The competition ends February 16th. The game's far from over --
it's half-time. Get back to your seat.

The competition will run until at least the 16th. Also, SEO Dave made a
wager to keep it running for an additional 2 months. Yet another update
of the top 300 results (2/2/2004 8:46AM US/Central). This time,
summer.org.uk didn't resolve, and I noticed this weekend as well as
today that there are some URLs that show up two times in the results.
Never seen this before... any comments?

There was one interesting thing that I found. There may be no rules, but
this is rather low IMO...

I am tempted to remove the entry from the contest for ripping off all my
content like that. I guess good clean competition just doesn't work for
some people. What to you all think about this? (BTW... I know this isn't
the only site using parts of my pages to try and get them a better
position for the competition.)

I am strongly considering re-entering the serps contest one week before
it ends just to make winning it a challenge. But the problem now is
there are those talking about extending it for two months. So I hope you
guys make up your minds and get an ending date and stick with it so I
can re-enter 7 days before the end and have fun winning it in a come
from way behind place way out in never never land. That's how I'd like
to win it! But need to know that ending date is set in stone before I
bother.

The official first competition ending date is February 16th. (Some want
to make it to an extended no-end all year competition but I don't think
most people are interested to keep this going forever.)

You mean blatant plagiarism and copyright violation is fun? College
professors and layers must love you...

I could see grabbing some of the text to use, but the entire page?

It's hardly as though I was trying to hide the fact LOL.
I am surprised you have only just found it.
When you start talking about "copyright violation" I think it
is time to sit back and calm down a little.
It wasn't even an entry in the fun competition.
I don't want to get in a slanging match with you, and I appreciate
all that you have done, but if you feel that strong about it just delete
me from the no rules competition.
I think you will find I have done more for this competition than
you realise.
