It didn't crash my browser (Netscape 7.1) but it nearly bored it to
death! The site takes an age to load. Please spare a thought to your
customers that like me don't have access to broadband! :-)

thats maybe what caused crash if he has old browser/low memory.

You should add a DOCTYPE and fix the coding errors - then you can rule
them out as problems:

Jez,

It must of really took some time, as I have high speed internet and a fast
computer. It took 6 seconds for the completion of the download on my
computer.

Extremely slow to load on dial up on using Opera.
Page remains blank for over 2 minutes useing IE this,
would lead some people to believe the site had crashed the browser..

no broadband access in my location.

Not available in my neck of the woods either - just right outside of
the "border". Crappy phone lines don't help the dial-up thoughts
either in my parts either. .

Images can be easily optimized - looks like one is resized through
HTML means ... and some ae two images in one space so could be
combined into being one image loading instead of 2 or 4 [once
optimized that is ]

It did not crash my browser (Netscape 4.7) but it took a full TWO
MINUTES to load. I am on dial-up, out in the country. I think you need
to perform a serious site overhaul to speed loading.

In Opera took over 2 minutes to load less than half the images. Bad.

IE is really slow to load. Extremely. Very bad.

Fix. Fix soon.

Can all the kind people who told me the site was slow clear their cache and
check my site again? I've made significant changes. I don't want it to be
super fast, but I don't want it to be so slow that users leave....
