Anyone have any experience as to how long it takes to get added to DMOZ?

Thank you!

Try to think in geologic time.

Imagine that Rip van Winkle is the only living DMOZ administrator.

Envision the birth and the death of the Internet -- and your site
being added after the latter.

Are you scheduled for retirement any time in the next forty years?
Your retirement will probably happen before your DMOZ listing is
added.

In short, give up and submit your site to http://www.dmozsucks.com

That depends on the category editor. The category I edit is fast because I
log in and check it often. Some categories don't even have editors and it's
up to someone higher up to deal with it whenever they feel like it. (In
that case, volunteer, but they won't put up with you abusing editor status
to promote your site.)

Once upon a time, I got sites listed within some months. It definitely
got much slower. It's really bad, but then again, it might just be my
patience that's getting worse.

I got one site listed in less than a week. Been waiting over two years on another
one. Got another one listed in between 2-3 months without submitting it.

Good luck.
