dmoz & google directories update

Hello All,

I have a quick question. when I go to dmoz and do a search for
my url, i see that my site is listed under a category.

But when i do a search in "directory" in google, my url does
not appear?

My url was just recently added to dmoz (about a week ago or so)...

Does it take time before it is updated in Google directory?
If yes, approx how long?

Well... all I now is from personal experience. My site was added to dmoz a
little over 1 month ago and does appear when you search dmoz, but it still
does not appear on directory.google.com. I'm in the same boat as you...
just going to have to wait I guess.

DMOZ provide a weekly file for its downstream users (of which Google
is just one of 100's) to use to update their directories when they
feel like it.

Google updated 8 times in 2002 and 2 times in 2003 (last one was in
Dec) - so its anyones guess when the next one will be.
